This photo was taken at the beach with a forced manual focus on the shell in the forefront. I tried a couple of different locations and angles, but felt this was the best result. I live very close to the beach and love taking pictures of the ocean, sea birds, and shells. I hadn't really thought about focus and blurring out part of the scene. I really like this photo!
This flower shot has the focus set on the closest flowers. Things are just starting to bloom here and I wanted a picture of these beautiful pink flowers that I passed as I walked through a park.
