Brookgreen Gardens is a beautifully preserved collection of botanical gardens, sculptures, and a zoo located on the coast of South Carolina. We attended the Summer Light: Art by Night display on the final night! We saw 250-year-old Live Oak trees, blooming butterfly gardens, and shimmering water displays lit by candles, lanterns, and colorful lights.
We walked through the sculpture garden, which has the largest collection of American figurative sculpture in the country. We arrived just before sunset, and watched the entire light show come to life! Gorgeous!
