From Seoul To The Countryside

Today, Caroline took me to a Korean-style Chinese restaurant where we ate black bean noodles, spicy seafood soup, and sweet & sour pork. After lunch, we left Seoul to head to the countryside via subway and bus. We spent the day eating and traveling. 



For dinner, teachers Caroline and Jinhyang took me to a popular spot for spicy rice cakes and ramyeon. We discussed schools in Korea versus schools in America. One of the biggest differences is that, in Korea, the academic year begins in winter. After summer vacation, they will continue with their current school year. It was such a pleasure eating and laughing with these ladies!
